For an esteemed private bank deeply rooted in Geneva's financial heritage, we are currently in search of a dynamic Securities Master Files Specialist to join their team for a nine-month temporary assignment in the city of Geneva.
In this role, you will take on a crucial responsibility, overseeing the careful maintenance and timely updates of financial instruments within the bank's Centralized Instrument Database (CID).
Required Qualifications
- Familiarity with system providers (e.g., Telekurs, Bloomberg, Reuters).
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a comparable role.
- Banking, fiduciary, or economic training.
- Native-level French and fluent in English.
Primary Responsibilities
- Initiating and maintaining financial instruments.
- Receiving requests for instrument openings from various business units, including Private Banking, Asset Management, Treasury & Trading.
- Conducting in-depth analysis, research for additional information (prospectuses, offering documents, term sheets, data providers), and data quality controls to ensure accuracy.
- Opening instruments in the Central Instrument Database, whether manually or through automated processes with providers.
- Continuously reviewing and updating information in the Instruments Database.
- Manually or automatically updating prices and Net Asset Values (NAV) with providers.
