On behalf of our client, a well-established Swiss private bank based in Geneva, we are currently seeking a Cash Transfers Investigation Specialist for a 6-month temporary assignment. This role sits within the operations team and is dedicated to the investigation, follow-up, and resolution of cash transfer-related matters, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strict compliance with internal and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and investigate incoming and outgoing payment-related queries raised by Relationship Managers.
• Handle inquiries from correspondent and external banks regarding cash transfers.
• Process recalls, cancellations, and amendments of payments when required.
• Analyze and follow up on transactions pending clarification, ensuring proper allocation of funds.
• Request and review supporting documentation to enable the correct execution and booking of transactions.
• Support operational matters related to FX transactions and fiduciary deposits, including cancellations where necessary.
• Liaise closely with Compliance teams on cases requiring additional due diligence or regulatory review.
• Open, document, and monitor cases through internal ticketing systems (e.g., JIRA) to ensure full traceability and timely resolution.
• Escalate complex or sensitive cases appropriately while maintaining high service standards toward the Front Office.

Profile & Requirements

• Proven experience in banking operations with strong exposure to payment investigations.
• Solid understanding of payment flows, correspondent banking, and Wealth Management operational processes.
• Experience with platforms such as GTExchange, GTMatch, or similar systems is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of SWIFT/MX messaging standards and familiarity with JIRA would be an advantage.
• Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
• Swiss residence is mandatory.
